Description

Pileus: convex with a central depression; 50 – 65 mm diameter; whitewith sepia patch at centre and yellow brown radially arranged squamules and fibrils which are finer towards the margin.

Stipe: cylindrical; 50 – 65× 8 – 10 mm; white with yellow brown squamules below the ring; pendulous ring 60% up stipe with thick flesh and scales below.

Gills: free; very crowded; pinkish brown.

Flesh:

Spore print: dark chocolate brown.

Notes: A medium sized Agaricus with a squamulose stipe below a thick ring.

Growing in litter in mixed native forest.
