Description
Pileus: convex; 40 - 60 mm diameter; viscid with a distinct reticulate network; yellow brown with network a darker brown; margin appendiculate.
Stipe: clavate; 60 - 70 × 12 – 15 mm; lacunose, reticulum more pronounced on lower half; reticulum and stipe surface white at apex, pale brown at base.
Pores: adnate; mostly pentagonal, some hexagonal; white becoming pink.
Flesh: white, unchanging.
Spore print: very pale pink.

Notes: the combination of a convex reticulate cap may be sufficient to recognise this species in the field.
