Description
Pileus: applanate to centrally depressed; 15 – 30 mm diameter; glabrous with uplifted squamules; dry; bright orange; margin eroded.
Stipe: cylindrical; 20 – 40 × 4 – 6 mm; glabrous; dry; bright orange.
Gills: deeply decurrent; broadly spaced; white.
Flesh: firm, pale orange.
Spore print: white to pale yellow.
Spores:
Notes: distinguished from other Cantharellus species by its squamulose cap and orange colours.
