Description
Pileus: campanulate, becoming applanate and finally centrally depressed; 4 – 8 mm diameter; young specimens white with an ochre to pale yellow central disc; translucent; dry and distinctly plicate (pleated) with radial grooves arranged around the central disc.
Stipe: central, cylindrical to slightly clavate; 20-40 × 1-2 mm; glabrous; off-white with a small bulb at the base and an upward facing ring about 60% up the stipe..
Gills: adnexed; close; white maturing to black and deliquescing.
Flesh: very thin.
Spore print: black.

Notes: this small whitish fungus is like a miniature Japanese parasol. It is usually found singly on woody substrates.
