Description
Cap: plano convex becomingapplanate;2-5 mm diameter; radially striate with grey velar remnants at first, becoming whitewith a browncentral disc; margin splits at maturity.
Stipe:cylindrical, hollow;50 - 110 × 2.5–4.5 mm; glabrous; white.
Gills: adnexed;white at first, brownish then black at maturity.
Spore print: blue black.
Spores:ellipsoid; 7.5 – 9 × 4 – 5 µm; with a germ pore.
Notes: this Coprinus is characterized by its white cap, small stature and its substrate which is always animal dung.
