Pileus: convex, planoconvex; 3 – 8 mm diameter; velutinatee; pale orange.

Notes: This fungus is recognised by the poroid pale orange fruiting bodies with a white stipe. It differs from the invasive Favolaschia calocera which has an orange and usually lateral stipe.
