Pileus: convex with a broad umbo; 15 - 30 mm diameter; viscid;glabrous; yellowish brown,; margin entire.

Stipe: cylindrical; 25 - 40 × 2–2.5 mm; slightly viscid, pruinose; yellowish brown.

Notes: this species is recognized by its viscid yellow brown coloured cap; yellow brown stipe and irregular radially elongated yellow brown pores.It is possibly  F. lutea which in turn appears to be a colour variant of F. violaceopora.
