Pileus: hemispherical to campanulate; 3 - 10 mm diameter; glabrous with fine pale hairs; ochre brown.

Stipe: cylindrical; 15 - 30 × 1–2 mm; glabrous; yellowish brown with white pruinose hairs.

Gills: adnate; distant; yellowish brown.

Flesh: yellowish.

Spore print: ochre.

Notes: this species is not easily recognized by its macroscopic features. It appears to be associated with mosses.
