Pileus: hemispherical to campanulate; 5 - 10 mm diameter;g labrous; ochre brown; margin striate.

Stipe: cylindrical; 30 - 40 × 1–2 mm; glabrous; yellowish brown with white pruinose remnants.

Gills: adnate; distant; 6 – 8 reaching stipe; yellowish brown; lamellulae in 2 series.

Flesh: yellowish.

Spore print: ochre.

Notes: this species is not easily recognized by its macroscopic features. It appears to be associated with mosses.
