Crepidium taurinum is a native terrestrial orchid largelly distributed from the Ile Art to Yaté in the south of Grande Terre in New Caledonia. It is found in dense humid forest, in forest gallery or in plateau, sometimes in dense maquis at an altitude range of 0-1500 m asl. Crepidium taurinum is not well known and therefore it is assessed as Data Deficient (DD) for taxonomic reasons.
