Thiollierea tubiflora is an endemic shrub of Grande Terre in New Caledonia, from N'goye to Forêt Nord. It occurs in dense humid forest and shrubland on ultramafic substrate at an altitudinal range 20-800 m asl. The main impact identified comes from mining activites and bushfires. Its area of occupancy (AOO) and extent of occurrence (EOO) being respectively estimated to 108 and 2,533 km², Thiollierea tubiflora is considered Near Threatened (NT) close to VU B1ab(iii)+2ab(iii) with a decline of habitat quality and a number of locations close to 10.

Thiollierea tubiflora is an endemic shrub of Grande Terre in New Caledonia, from N'goye to Forêt Nord.
Population
Population size is unknown. It is known from 15 subpopulations.
Habitat
Thiollierea tubiflora occurs in dense humid forest and shrubland on ultramafic substrate at an altitudinal range 20-800 m asl.
Threats
This species does not seem globally threatened. Some subpopulations may be threatened by mining activities: Vulcain (SMGM), Plateau (SLN), Goro (VALE), Ouinné (SMGM) or bushfires (Dumbéa, Dalmates, Kuébini).
Conservation
Unprotected by legislation, this species is found in six protected areas : Haute Yaté, Forêt Nord, la Dumbéa, Montagne des sources, Rivière bleue, Haute Dumbéa.
