Etymologie

La nouvelle espèce Calesynthemis jeanlegrandi sp. nov. est dédiée à Jean Legrand.

Jean Legrand, qui a pris sa retraite en 2011, était le dernier odonatologue travaillant au Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle
à Paris (MNHN). Il est décédé le 20 octobre 2020, à l'âge de 76 ans,
