Description

Pileus: convex to hemispherical becoming applanate; 20 – 25 mm diameter; smooth grey with large grey brown squamules concentrated in the centre and smaller ones at the margin

Gills: free, white.

Stipe: cylindrical, solid, white; ring present; volva free, grey brown.

Spores: white; hyaline in KOH; 5 × 3 µm.

Growing in soil with Nothofagus sp.
