Description

Pileus: convex with a more slight umbo; 45 – 60 mm diameter; white, with brown patch at centre and brown squamules arranged in concentric rings and becoming smaller towards margin.

Stipe: cylindrical; 45 – 50 × 10 – 12 mm; white; pendulous ring 60% up stipe.

Gills:free; crowded; pinkish brown; lamellulae in 1 or 2 series and several lengths.

Spore print: dark chocolate brown.

Notes: A large Agaricus with squamules. It resembles Agaricus sp collected at Ouen Toro but insufficient details recorded to determine if it is the same.

Growing in litter in dry sclerophyll forest.
