Pancheria × lanceolata est un arbuste endémique de la Grande Terre en Nouvelle-Calédonie. On le trouve en maquis et près des cours d'eau à basse altitude sur substrat ultramafique. Ce taxon semble être un hybride dont la viabilité en tant qu'espèce n'est pas certaine. Ainsi, Pancheria × lanceolata est considéré en données déficientes (DD) pour des raisons taxonomiques ; s'agissant d'un hybride, il n'est au final pas soumis à la liste rouge et classé en NE (non-évalué).
